A bankrupt judge has order hip hop mogul 50cent to appear in her courtroom to explain several of his social media post where he is photographed with large amounts of money. The rapper, whose real name is Curtis J. Jackson, filed for bankruptcy in July. Judge Ann Nevins told 50’s lawyer that his Instagram post are raising questions about whether he is being truthful about his financial situation.
“I’m concerned about allegations of nondisclosure and a lack of transparency in the case,” Judge Nevins said at a hearing Thursday in Hartford, Conn., on Thursday. “There’s a purpose of having a bankruptcy process be transparent, and part of that purpose is to inspire confidence in the process.” She added that bankruptcy is a place where “honest, but unfortunate” people can get a fresh start.
It’s kinda hard to claim bankruptcy and then get on the gram like it’s all gravy I hope all works out well for 50.
